Rainbow Connection Quilters

We started in 2007 with a quilt made one very rainy weekend with friends from across Sydney and across the world connected by patchwork and quilting. Our members have included quilters and novices from far and wide - NSW, Victoria, Western Australia and Queensland (Australia), New Zealand, Massachusetts and Connecticut (USA), N.Ireland, Cornwall, Shropshire and Wales (UK). All our quilts are for charity, either raffled to earn money or donated directly to a nearby charity.

Daisy quilt - donated to Macquarie Homestay

I forgot to take photos of the quilt Stephanie and I made from the Baradine Scraps from 2024 so I am using Janice's photos here.

We did not have enough 'pale' or 'low volume' pieces so achieved our result by turning stronger fabrics to the wrong side. This quilt has now been donated to Macquarie Homestay.

Our bright tulips now form our Tulip Quilt. It is a small knee warmer.

This was an experiment but is now called Windows. This is also a small knee warmer.
