Linen and Old Lace

At last I have finished my extremely heavy doily quilt. At our last gathering there was a lot of teetering and tottering to hold it up so I could get a photo.

The front has lots of pieces collected from various family members (Mum, Grandma and Great Grandma) and friends (Karen W.,  Shirley, Pernilla, Cathy and others). Then there was inspiration and impetus added by others (especially Kerry).

The back of the quilt-as-you-go blocks was mostly an old linen tablecloth given to me by Helen B. to find some use for.
